
It is a typical sample of a stone-built school (with joints and wooden hipped roof), built in 1931 when Minister of Education was George Papandreou, and is directly connected to the memories of local people. The historic building of the former elementary school has become a folklore museum and to a museum that hosts the story of the family Papandreou. It is located at the highest point of the village. It consists of two separate buildings (of different size) which are connected together by semi-open space and outdoor courtyard. The site works like theater during summer.
